Here is some of the food I prepared for the pop-up café; most importantly the porchetta that is a speciality of the Castelli Romani – the little towns and villages of the seven hills of Rome in the Lazio region of Italy. Each Saturday morning, I was busy making towers of focaccia and slicing my homemade aromatic roast pork! There were vegetarian frittatas – pictured is a succulent chilli and peperoni one – as well as vegan fillings. And let’s not forget the cakes! Featured here are my homemade lemon polenta cake and ricciarelli – moist little almond cakes.
